First, the color is beautiful. A perfect deep brick red, but sheer enough that I don't look like a clown during the daytime. The glass packaging is a nice touch, it feels heavy in your palm and it's easy to find on the bottom of your purse. Lastly, this is a plumper that doesn't irritate my lips like some of the others. It also doesn't perform like a regular lip gloss, my lips feel truly nourished and better off after applying it, instead of drier and thirstier. Well done! Can't wait to order more products from this company.

The formula alone deserves a 5-star rating for how truly conditioning it is that I could use it as an overnight lip mask and wake up with soft supple lips. The cinnamon scent is noticeable, not pleasant but not unpleasant either. I don’t experience any tingling plumping effect at all though I personally don’t care for that result. One star off because I don’t like how the color looks on me even though it’s a pretty color.

I recently bought a few colors of this product including Rose Bite.

I do really like the product itself, it seems moisturizing and has good color payoff and a comfortable texture.

However, I'm on the fence about the glass packaging because unfortunately, after only a few days of having it, my Rose Bite Lip Oil fell out of my makeup bag and shattered on my bathroom floor.

I totally understand that glass packaging is nicer than plastic and more sustainable, but it's frustrating that I had to throw away a brand new $27 lip product because it fell out of my bag.

I don't know if maybe there could be a middle ground of a stronger more shatter-proof container or a rubberized sleeve that could help absorb impact maybe...

I love RdF and I am empathetic that they are a small company and restricted by that in terms of what they can do, and they already seem to be very thoughtful about package design.

Just wanted to flag for them and others that these will break if they are dropped or fall on the floor.

A gorgeous lip oil, just slightly redder than my natural lip colour, so a pretty understated red and great for every day. I usually find that shine draws attention to my extremely wrinkly lips, but this really does make them plump and gorgeous. This is my second lip oil from Rituel de Fille, and I can’t get enough.
