Use the soft doe foot applicator to dab onto the under eyes, dark spots, blemishes, or anywhere else you want to cover or brighten.
Like an eye cream, tap out with your fingertips to blend. If preferred, you can also blend out with a makeup sponge or complexion brush.
Pro Tip: This is a highly pigmented formula, and a little goes a long way. For the best possible under-eye coverage and wear, we recommend starting with three dots: at the inner corner, under-eye hollow, and outer corner. Blend out the dots, and if more coverage is desired, repeat to build up from there.
Avoid over-applying–such as with one big swipe–to allow the self-setting formula to work its crease-resistant magic.

BACKGROUND: INGREDIENT CLINICAL TESTING
Deinoxanthin is brand new in the world of beauty, and we want to share as much information as possible about this fascinating ingredient in the interest of transparency.

Deinoxanthin extract was tested in an in-vivo study of 22 females aged 20-60 (average age: 51) over 4-8 weeks, using a 3% concentration of the active ingredient–the same concentration used in Soft Sorcery Weightless Serum Concealer.
This study evaluated efficacy based on the following criteria: skin density improvement, eye bag improvement, elastic restoring force improvement, relief of dark circles, and wrinkle improvement functional evaluation.
This study demonstrated the following:
• 11.6% reduction in the appearance of under-eye bags after 4 weeks of use
• 7.5% improvement in skin density after 4 weeks of use
• 68.6% increase in elastic resilience after using, with resilience improves rate of 8.2% after 4 weeks of use
• 13.4% reduction in the appearance of dark circles after 8 weeks of use
In-vitro testing demonstrated the following:
• Antioxidant assay: Deinoxanthin showed 19x the antioxidant scavenging activity of beta-carotene at the same concentration
• Antioxidant assay: Deinoxanthin extract reduces ROS by 59% at 200 ppm
• Anti-inflammation assay: Deinoxanthin extract 48% NO reduction at 200 ppm
• Skin barrier assay: Increased Filaggrin expression & increased Involucrin expression at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm (with UV irradiation for 4 days after Deinoxanthin treatment)
• Anti-aging assay (MMP-1 and Procollagen): 41% MMP-1 reduction at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm
• Anti-aging assay (Skin 3D model): Increased Collagen Type IV expression & decreased MMP-1 & MMP-2 expression at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm (with UV irradiation for 4 days after Deinoxanthin treatment)
