When RdF released the Limited Edition Chroma Obscura Lip Oils in June of 2025, I picked up the Night Flower and Night Bloom colors, thinking that they were the most wearable of the trio. When RdF re-released this collection in February, I decided I would get Night Glow for fun. I love green shades, but normally not so much for my lips on a daily basis. I was pleasantly surprised that this color is actually wearable as a daily color, not necessarily just for more "dressing up" occasions. Since the base is a sheer black and the green tinge is from all of the sparkle, it's a very subtle green effect on a deep translucent background. You could easily bring the green out more by using this on top of a green lipstick. I've found that I enjoy using it on its own on days when I want the dark gossamer lip look but with a touch of something unusual. It's the same nourishing oil formula that you know and love, along with that unique, herbal, "natural" scent (IYKYK).
I'm so happy with this! The only complaint is that now I need more green lipsticks.

I love the lip oils from here but this particular shade? AMAZING. I wish I got a few more backups because I'm going to be living in this particular shade until I'm all out, but hopefully it'll come back as a limited rerelease in the future!
As always, the formula itself is amazing. It's not too sticky, the scent is very light, and it's super moisturizing. These are the oil lip oils I like because they are truly THE best!
This lip oil!!! This color!!! The scent!! The component!!! I love everything about it, even the fact you can peel the label off. I chose this color because I already have purple and berry lip glosses and I wanted to try something more daring. It is everything I wanted it to be and more. I feel so mysterious, powerful, and sexy when I wear it and I wear it to the office. I love pairing it over my other lipsticks or just a liner. Love love love this. I admit I was hesitant to spend so much on a lip oil, but I wanted to show support during Pride Month. How I feel and how I look when I wear this lip oil is worth every penny. I'm waiting for a restock so I can buy another one.
