Before purchasing Blood Thorn I’d already bought Black Thorn. The formula is great, the pigment payoff is fantastic and I love how it feels on my lips. That being said, Blood Thorn is not at all what it looks like in the pictures. In photos is looks more brown, which was the reason I wanted to get it. In person, however, it’s much more red. Luckily I love how it looks and I’ve been wearing it a lot to work, but it was definitely scary and jarring that it didn’t look at all like it does online.

Super comfortable formula and gorgeous color payoff. I’m hooked!

i wish these were mint dented instead of herbal/floral so badly. i would buy every color! i own three and they’re my favorite lip products!!! I will definitely buy more when inside these up:) This is my favorite cosmetics company and i love everything about them!

Very nicely packaged product in quite a heafty glass bottle! Love the sutble fragrance which doesn't linger too long. Unforturnately the tone of the blood thorne lacks those plum hints you see in the photos. My skin tone is close to the 2nd model and it's just a plain soft red on me. I was able to mix this with a black lipstick to get the color quite close. Was purchased out of curiosity, and ended up somewhat disapointed. Don't think I'd repeat a purchase for the price point.

I am excited about all the Rituel makeup products I have ordered. I love the rich pigmentation. I love how they can be mixed and used in different ways. I even use the red eye-liner on my lips. By the way, who would have thought that red eye-liner would be flattering?? It's been fun experimenting with the different products.
