    A new favorite “neutral.”

Since arriving, I have worn the black locust enchanted lip sheer quite a bit, both on its own and with various lip glosses. As a predominantly red lip gal, I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much I’ve reached for this!

-I love the ability to build the color to whatever suits my mood/look

-I personally like the herbal-y scent of RDF lip products, but I know some may not. It’s strong when applied, but wears off quickly!

-It does not go on evenly on chapped/dry lips (what would?), but a little exfoliation fixes that.

    Iconic Moody Color

This is one of my favorite gray black lip colors. It’s a very unique color, easy to wear and flattering.

    Perfect “natural” goth lip

I’ve tried so many black lip balms and glosses looking for something that gives the look of a goth nude lip. This is the first one I’ve found that actually achieves that! It’s sheer enough that it’s casual but dark enough that it makes your lips darker and grungier. It’s also surprisingly long wearing. I wish it was cheaper because I’m gonna have to rebuy this over and over.

    BLACK LOCUST Enchanted Lip Sheer

    Black Locust -- KLAR

TONE: An ultra wearable (i.e. everything from daytime to clubbing) sheer grey, I'd say, which blends w/ one's one lip color creating the perfect, subtle combo. A bit lk Lilium's darker sister.

FORMULA: Wears very comfortably also over considerable time (most of a long night clubbing, f ex). No real need to reapply much. Lips remain hydrated throughout use.

PACKAGING: Adore this kind of slim, sleek, non-intrusive and storage/travel friendly bullets.

SCENT: As prominent as in the IGs (and more than in the CNs), which is a definite plus for me. True to description, and scrumptious.

OTHER: Colored name labels, which is helpful.

When wearing RdF, I feel both ultra cool, AND polished.

    Unique but patchy

I've tried hard to make this work because the shade is so unique, but no matter what I do it goes on dry and patchy. I don't see the smooth finish that I see in other people's pics. Maybe I just got a bad batch.
