4-star because I’m no longer a fan of anything that reads coral on me but this is undoubtedly beautiful and my go-to in that category.
The Lip Sheer has to be my favorite lip formula from RdF as well as sheer blotted lips or just lipsticks in general. I love how uniquely stiff it is, in contrast to typical sheer lip formulas which are either slippery gloss or powdery silicone matte. It is stiff but thickly balmy and moisturizing, not transfer-proof but still adheres to my lips well. Most colors are quite nuanced and apply evenly too. I love the lavender oil scent but just put it out there for ppl who try to avoid it.

I was unsure about trying this lipstick initially, since it looked orange, and I wasn’t sure it would suit my cool skin tone, however, when I got it, I was very happy to see that it’s an interesting, beautiful color. When applied lightly, it is a beautiful dusty papaya as described but it changes colors when applied with 2 to 3 swipes to a pretty orange. I am glad that I purchased this color since I don’t have anything like it in my collection and it is my opinion quite pretty.

U sell products that are scented to people who have allergies. Every product I bought is scented. First purchase after looking at the brand for so long.

We also do our best to describe each product’s aroma in the feature bullets of the product description. Many of our products contain small amounts of beneficial essential oils, which give them their natural scent. While we don’t claim them as fragrance-free, they are made without synthetic fragrance.

I have almost all of the lip sheers. I love the size (easy to throw in a pocket or small purse), smell, slight blurring/no hard edges and longevity. Based on the photos It does say ‘dusty’ but I thought Bittersweet would be more orange. At least for me, I am finding that all the colors screw more red. Bittersweet is a very muted shade that if compared to something else or if I said ‘muted papaya’ you would better recognize the orange hint. The swatch is Datura on top and Bittersweet on bottom. Pictures of the lippie in natural sunlight - Bittersweet on left and Datura on the right. I still like it and wear it regularly but it’s just different than expected.

I like something sheer that lasts and that can be very hard to find. This might be the only one that is both in equal measure. I am fair but warm toned and this gives my lips a really healthy glow without being to heavy or overpowering. Love!
