This is the soft goth greige of your dreams. It’s your lips but moodier, so it will look different on everyone. I am so obsessed that I got a backup, one for my makeup dresser, one for my purse. It just goes with anything and everything, such a universal shade. Bold smokey eye? Black locust. Clean girl look? Also black locust. Pastel goth eye? Also still black locust. So versatile and so flattering; gives off that sickly beauty vibe without looking off somehow.
That said, the texture is a bit waxy and if you have dry patches it will cling onto them so make sure you exfoliate well before putting it on. Personally I find that a potent lip mask for 15 min before putting it on and while I do the rest of my makeup does the trick.

I never thought I'd be wearing gray/blackish lip color, but here I am. This is not an in-your-face product, although maybe you can apply more coats and heavier coats to get that kind of effect. This is a more polished goth look.

For being a non-traditional lip colour, Black Locust is super easy to wear. I’m a very pale freckley neutral but I have pretty pigmented lips and it never makes me look washed out. Smells lovely. Also works amazingly over pinky tones I’d like to grey out,

Obsessed. I love how it’s just a subtle hint of a nice grungy color on the lip without being solid.
It’s light and easy to wear which is a plus as I hate lipstick that feels too suffocating on the lip.
I like to pair it with Black Thorn!
