I love these orbs. This is the second color I’ve purchased (i also have the iron/red). They’re perfect for doing grungy smudged eyeliner, but also work as eyeshadow or with a liner brush for cat eye. I do usually set them with an eyeshadow on top if I’m doing a more precise liner look. I would love if they added more colors (like a purple or an emerald green).

This is my first order from RDF and my first time using a cream eyeliner. Everything about the experience was special, from the excellent customer service, creative packaging, and the look and feel of the product itself. I was impressed with the ease of application (with an angled brush) buildable, blendable pigment and the minimal smudging. I have hooded eyes, so smudging and transfer are usually issues for me, but this liner really stayed put! I will be investing in more colors!

I’ve found that with a generous eye primer before and careful setting, this soot has become one of my favorite eye paint-type products. Albeit not transfer proof on its own, the formula worth taking the extra steps; it’s much nicer to work with than many others I’ve tried in my years of being an eyeliner fiend. 🖤
