The Black Orb Enigmatic Kohl Eyeliner offers the rich, intense pigmentation of a traditional pencil eyeliner, but with far greater flexibility in application. Designed for truly transformative eye looks, this beloved cream formula allows for seamless blending, bold lines, and decadent shadow.

How to Wear

  • For a striking, bold line: Use an angled eyeliner brush to pick up the scarlet pigment and trace sharply along the lash line, or pull outward to create a graphic, bloody wing.
  • For a romantic, smoky effect: Apply the color to the lash line and use a dense smudge brush or your fingertips to soften the edges, creating a diffused, lived-in halo of red.

    The color I wanted but it couldn't stay put

    Blood was the color I've always wanted for an eyeliner but no matter what primer or setting powder I used, it kept migrating. If I used less product, it wouldn't be representative of the color seen on the website. My lids are oily so would recommend for someone with more normal/drier skin.

    I'm absolutely in love with this color. It's exactly what I was hoping that it would be. Easy to apply with a small brush and it wears pretty well throughout the day. It pairs nicely with Rosa. Definitely enjoying this.

    LOVE the COLOR!

    The color saturation is amazing! A little goes a long way with this. The color is beautiful. It brings out the green in my hazel eyes and adds a bit of unexpected color to what is usually a boring black or brown liner look. I haven't tried it on my lips or cheeks yet, but I will. It is even better as an eye shadow than I had hoped for!

    The color is stunning and rich, I am so glad I decided to get the limited edition colors! It wears well on its own, but setting powder and primer make it really last. I also really like how versatile these little orbs are.

    Very pretty

    Absolutely gorgeous color just wish I could use it on my waterline but it immediately becomes a watery mess otherwise it's quite nice and I'd most likely get another shade like the blue tones since black waterline won't be so harsh

    I got the eyeliner orbs in blood, rust, and the black and purple ones. I loved all the colors. The eyeliner definitely needs to be set with powder or it settles a little in the creases, which I'm not a fan of, but I was using it more as an eyeshadow all over the lid. I really wanted a nice blood red and I personally think both reds missed the mark. The brighter red pulls very pink on my skin and the rust looks more brown than anything. Still gorgeous just not what I was hoping for. I'd like to see more product photos on RDF site so we can see how products look in more normal applications. I've found some of their photos to be a little misleading as you really have to buildup to get the color they show on their swatches, and with that amount of product it smudges or creases. That being said I'm not unhappy with the products at all. They're beautiful colors with formulas that are very sensitive skin friendly. These eyeliners specifically are pretty water resistant.
