CREATING THE 2024 BLACK FRIDAY COLLECTION

Usually, when the two of us work together in our laboratory, serendipity strikes like lighting. But for this year's release, finding serendipity for ourselves required countless hours of creation we had to conjure our own thunderstorm. We set out to capture subtle, soft magic; to create a delicate, ethereal and spellbinding vignette in a collection, evoking a sense of the hidden and a the promise of the extraordinary.

Five times, once for each nuanced shade, we had to pass the finest golden thread through the narrowest needle's eye. Then, together, we had to spin each of those threads into a delicate gossamer whole. As each perfect shade emerged, we wove a new world at dusk. A sorceress delicately plucking from her botanical garden. A faun emerging from the river, glistening in the waning light. An unctuous potion created in a base of wine and honey. A nymph enveloped within the ancient forest, illuminated by the pulse of fireflies.

The result is a collection that speaks in powerful, resonant whispers; this is the most extraordinary Black Friday set we have ever released.

A rich red pigment!
I love the lip sheer formula and Adder’s Tongue does not disappoint! So beautiful! I love to pat it in on the lips with my finger and then add that to my cheeks. Thank you for rereleasing these colors!

Lovely color
My first time trying this formula. I love the color, I can’t resist a vampy red. Still trying to get used to formulas that aren’t transfer-proof but that’s my own personal thing. I enjoyed the creaminess and grip of the formula, though.

A Deep Red Fav
This is almost a brick red on me. I LOVE it. It isn't too vampy, so it can be worn in more conservative offices if necessary, but it also transitions to a nice date night lip. Throw one of the thorn bites over it, and it can go much more vampy if you like. Great color.

A favorite!
I first got this as a gwp Black Friday last year. When the archive revealed it again, I acted fast. It was one I knew I could wear frequently. This deep red with a touch of desert heat is incredibly versatile. Sheered it’s a touch of warm red flush, full strength it is a baked red. I love the versatility of Enchanted Lip Sheers.

Based on the promotional pictures I thought this would be a darker bloody shade on me, but it’s still an AMAZING red! You can build up the color nicely or wear it as a little flush of red!
