I am a big fan and have almost all of the lip sheers. I love the size (easy to keep in a pocket and doesn’t take up room in my bag), smell, longevity and feel. I LOVE pink lippie and based on the images I was psyched that Datura would be the perfect. Even the review images showed something clearly pink.
Is this pink?… well kind of… Maybe it’s just me but I find the lip sheers all screw more red on me. The picture of the swatches has Datura on top and Bittersweet on the bottom. Picture of the lipsticks in sunlight - Bittersweet on left and Datura on right. If you look at Datura next to Bittersweet you see it has pink - but wearing it you can also see it looks nothing like the images.
I still like it and I’m still wearing it regularly but it’s not what I expected.

Maybe it's the color of my lips or my specific complexion, but I was expecting Datura to look like a pretty straightforward pink. A warmer-leaning neutral, maybe, but definitely not warm-warm to the point of looking almost burnt orange prior to application. It's definitely not reading anything even close to the pink in the image, but I haven't found that to be the case with other lip sheers, so maybe it's me/my base lip color. (I'm a light, cool-leaning neutral w some olive undertones, for reference)

This is a lovely shade of melon pink. Love it so much for a bright, summertime look. This one pairs beautifully with a nice golden glow on the eyes and highlight. Also lovely to use as blush as well.

With my skin tone, Datura looks like a perfectly '60s inspired pink lip. I like to use it as a lip and cheek color with a gold eye product. This one also looks beautiful on the lip topped with any of the pink highlighters!

Lovely light pink shade that pairs well with the Plumpling lip gloss in shade Rose Pinch though that is a little cooler. This is also a very good base abd mixes well with other colors. Would Recommend.
