I got the pre-launch sample skincare trio, and sort of ignored it. It's a makeup remove, whatever. Or so I thought! I was wearing some particularly stubborn eye pigments and khol liner. My usual remove wasn't working, and I actually needed all the things off my face. I busted my sample out in desperation... and it got almost all traces of the pigments off, and all of the khol liner off. Started doing arm swatches and seeing how well this remover worked. I was impressed enough to buy a full size version. Highly recommended if you wear more stubborn products or a lot of cream and glittery products.

What the title says. I first tried this when I bought the gift set over a year ago, and now I just bought my 7th jar. I love this stuff enough to keep backups, and I shall mourn its passing should it ever be discontinued (please don't ever discontinue it). It's made such a massive improvement on my skin: my face isn't nearly as dry or irritable, and my moisturizing routine is so much lighter now. I don't need to layer moisturizer like I used to! And it removes my makeup! Anyway, here are some other observations:

Texture: I am easily entertained, and the texture entertains me. It does indeed have a sort of crunchy texture at first, but that quickly melts in your fingers.

Scent: none? I don't have the best sense of smell, though, so take that for what it's worth.

Application: I originally tried this as the first step of a double cleanse, because I didn't believe I could just wipe it away with a damp cloth. It worked okay, and it dissolved my makeup, but otherwise wasn't great. It turns out that (surprise) it works much, much better when you follow the instructions. I've never had a problem with leftover residue or anything.

Makeup removal: so far, it's removed everything I've thrown at it. You do need to properly massage it into your face to get the makeup to dissolve, though. Nothing ridiculous, but I wanted to pass that on. This has quickly become my favorite cleansing balms to remove my makeup or as a first step in a double cleanse. No matter how stubborn my makeup is this gets everything off. A little goes a long way and I've gotten full face paints off using this when nothing else would get them off. I rarely have to use makeup removers when I use this other than sometimes on my water line. Just bought my second one and will be getting another when I run out again. 10/10 product
