Thorn Bite Peptide Plump Crème Lip Oil is the lipcare for makeup lovers. When should I apply Thorn Oil?
Thorn Oil can be used morning or evening. Apply after any water-based skincare, and before SPF and makeup.
Can I use Thorn Oil on days I am not applying makeup?
Yes! Thorn Oil is both a beautiful base for makeup and a beneficial skincare oil.
How many Thorn Oil drops should I use?
For most, we recommend 5-10 drops for a full application to the face, neck and décolletage. This may be adjusted as desired depending on your preferences and size of application area.
I have oily skin. Will Thorn Oil work for me?
Thorn Oil is intended for all skin types, and may help balance your skin while calming sebum production.
THORN MILK:
When should I apply Thorn Milk?
Whenever you choose! As part of a skincare routine, apply before Thorn Oil. Through the day, mist whenever you would like additional moisture or a dewier finish for your makeup.
Will the formula fully mix when shaken?
No, and it is not intended to! Shake well for the oil-based and water-based ingredients to suspend together, mist, and enjoy.
How do I know when it is time to replace my Thorn Milk?
Your bottle has reached its end when the white fluid has been depleted. Some red may still remain. If you experience this, do not worry: it is not a faulty product, and you have not done anything wrong. You can dispose of the remaining red oil, but it is perfectly safe to use.
Will Thorn Milk turn my skin red?
When used as intended, Thorn Milk will not impart any color on the skin. Mist from the recommended 10-12 inches from your face for best results.
What creates the blood red and milky white colors in Thorn Milk?
The blood red color is lent by botanical oils with antioxidant properties. The milky white fluid is composed from rosewater with a fine suspension of avocado oil, creating a distinctive translucent effect.

Will Thorn Pulp stain things red?
No! The red color in Thorn Pulp comes from antioxidant-rich, skin-beneficial root extracts – not dyes. These antioxidant-rich ingredients are water-soluble, and Thorn Pulp applies nearly clear with the faintest pink tint on the skin. We love using soft white washcloths with this product to watch makeup melt away, and any color rinses away in warm water or the wash.
Will Thorn Pulp turn my skin red?
No! It leaves skin bright and dewy. The red color comes from skin-beneficial antioxidants that wash away along with your melted-away makeup. You may notice a temporary flush to your skin after washing, the result of warm water and soft friction from your washcloth.
Does Thorn Pulp lather or contain any soaps?
Thorn Pulp is an oil-based cleansing balm, and does not contain any emulsifiers or surfactants. It works gently with the skin, and may be used on its own or as the first step in a double cleanse routine.
Why is there a subtle shimmer left on my skin? Is it glitter?
Thorn Pulp Crunchy Jelly is intended to be removed with a warm, damp washcloth, so if you notice any shimmer left behind, we recommend using warmer (but not hot) water.
Crunchy Jelly contains ingredients that form delicate crystalline flakes in the manufacturing process. These are not glitter or mica, and they will melt and vanish with warmth–as will all ingredients in the formula, ensuring best results.
