To me, this is like The Alchemist but a bit more “tame.” It’s still very sparkly and very dimensional, but it isn’t as wet or filled with as large of sparkles as The Alchemist. This was one of the first items I bought from RdF years ago, and finally got myself a second pot now. It’s the fourth swatch in the image.

On the cheeks/decolletage: This product works nicely as a wet-look highlighter on cheeks and decolletage. However, I'd recommend using setting spray on top as the glitters come off fairly easily if you touch them. To my chagrin, the very obvious larger glitters aren't really the thing I favour when highlighting those areas. - This is a personal preference; I'm more of a Ghost Light girl (Rare Light Luminizer). On eyelids: My main gripe with the Metamorphic Highlighter in Sorcerer is that it doesn't really stay on my hooded eyelids at all well - that would have been my preferred use case for this. It only looks good for a few blinks, doesn't dry (in the quantities needed for eyeshadow - it's fine and non-tacky then applied in a sheerer layer on larger, more easily light-reflecting surfaces), moves around in an unflattering manner on the lids, bunches and creases, and you can forget applying it on top of powder eyeshadow.

How can one make a cream highlighter that so silky and smooth yet there is not an ounce of that sticky feeling you get from several cream highlighters. I think what I love about this highlighter is the fact that you can go in heavy from the get go or you can build it up. Overall I am so in love with this highlighter!!
