The Collection

Crystalline Matter Eye Soot is our rarest formula, and is released in new shades only once a year. This Color Set contains the opulent, greens of the Phase 4 release, offering lush shades of sage and forest green.

These artisanal products are mixed and filled entirely by hand, and can only be made in extremely small quantities. Each color is created with love, passion and meticulous care to achieve unmatched complexity.

Crystalline Matter Eye Soot is the glitter of dreams: bright, dimensional, and utterly mesmerizing. We achieve this using only mineral pigments—no plastic-based glitters—to create remarkable sparkling finishes.

The Colors

Serpentine is the green of the deepest forest, the richest smoky shimmer. This shade is mysterious and mesmerizing, with lively dimension like the scales of a snake. (vegan shade)

Alexandrite is inspired by the color-changing qualities of the alexandrite stone. This shifting sage green reveals unexpected purple-mauve shimmer with incredible dimensionality.

PHASE 4 INGREDIENTS NOTE: Alexandrite contains Ferric Ferrocyanide, a beautiful blue pigment. Ferric Ferrocyanide is approved for use in the United States for eyes and face, but not lips. In the European Union, Ferric Ferrocyanide is approved for use on eyes, face and lips.

Rich and Deep
I purchased the green and the grayish duo, and they don't disappoint in their dimensional colors! I still am trying to figure out the best way to apply since they are on the loose side, and what type of primer to use since I have hooded lids which can crease.

Gorgeous greens!
I love the Eye Soots and have purchased every shade that suits my skintone (I’m very cool toned, which is a pain) and a few that were on the edge, since they were created. I LOVE everything that RDF does and these are no exception. They are unique, gorgeous, multi dimensional, easy to work with and can be used in a variety of ways. I wear a lot of neutrals, so RDF helps me get out of my comfort zone and lets me experiment with beautiful color and texture and it makes makeup fun again! This duo was especially gorgeous to me because I love green and they really nailed the nuances and I really hope to see these again!! If they come back, I highly recommend picking them up because these are colors that will look good on basically every skintone and with every eye color. Another winner from RDF!
