This is one of the more unique Rituel de Fille eye products that I own. The green and purple shift is just stunning. I love that it has just the right amount of shimmer to really show off that color shift. Green and purple are my favorite colors, and to have them together in this beautiful shade is amazing.

the color shift of this shade was a more unusual one that i felt could easily be worn during the day. the formula is drier than the eye soot so i am still practicing how to achieve a smoother application but the sparkle this gives is beautiful. i think it would be lovely over a creamier base. i hope the darker green is rereleased in the future.

Love the concept and effect of these, I’ve had some issues with a couple of bots having trouble staying put with application. I dab on, not swipe. Dusting some powder before hand definitely helps with smoother use. Wouldn’t recommend a cream primer. The purple deep sage hue is to die for though, I love the way it looks over black eyeshadow for depth!

I was super excited to try out a couple of the Crystalline Matter eye soots as I have six of the regular ones. I purchased this color along with the Fire Opal and while this color was definitely the one I liked more, the consistency was shockingly loose, dry, and a lot chunkier than the Fire Opal. Immediately, I had large pieces of it all over my cheeks while in the midst of applying it -- something I have never had with any of the other eye soots I own and an experience I didn't have with the much smoother consistency of the Fire Opal. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but this definitely isn't the usual quality I have found in alllllll of the other RDF products I adore (Thorn Oil, Crunchy Cleanser, Concealer, Eyeliner, Lip sheers, Lipsticks, Highlighters, etc.)... Disappointed because I normally wouldn't have splurged for this, but I assumed the risk I was taking would be with how much I liked the color -- quality was never a question.

The Crystalline Matter Eye Soots are a very different formula compared to the Ash and Ember Eye Soots and Celestial Sphere Gel�e Eye Gloss. These are a highly pigmented, flakey unique consistency that is neither a powder nor a cream, and are meant to impart a glittering sheen. The best way to apply them is with a tiny amount on your finger, which is more than enough product for the application. Scrape out a little bit of product onto the back of your hand. Then swirl it around on the back of your hand to work it onto your finger and remove the excess product. Swipe your finger along your eyelid, working in thin layers to prevent fallout. Apply an additional layer, or wear on top of your favorite Ash and Ember Eye Soot for an opaque look.
