I will never fall out of love with the layered, deep green of scarabaeus. With any eye gloss, one must place carefully and use with intent. Nonetheless, as a MUA, with years of experience with makeup this is truly the most beautiful product in my collection. It’s almost annoying how many compliments I get on it. Almost.

I don’t know why i have not used this on my lips before but oh my god it’s uniquely suited to that. On eyes it creases super easily and disappears after a few hours even with my best primer. But on lips? Perfect

It reminds me of those beautiful green beetles. It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and stays on well. I'm definitely buying more colors and some of the soots as well since they don't irritate my eyes either.

I got an array of colors in a sample to try before I invested in a full pot. Let me say the colors of this gloss are something to behold. So otherworldly, and I love that about the brand. And this is where the highlights end.I tried this with and without primer, and with my finger and with a brush. Messy and unmanageable. I had to work way too hard to get the placement I wanted, and it creased almost immediately, which led to me use my finger multiple times to even it out, which led me to getting the product all over everything---fingers, nose, cheeks, etc. Not great. If you're OK with the messy, tousled look, then this would probably work just fine. But if you need a more structured product that will go exactly where you want it to, you'll be frustrated. Not user friendly.
RDRituel de Fille1 year agoElle, thank you for taking the time to write your review! Celestial Sphere Gel�e Eye Gloss is a richly textured, glossy gel�e formula that doesn't dry down. As with any wet-look eye product there will be creasing more quickly than with a powder eye shadow, but this can be easily tapped out with your finger. To fully avoid any potential creasing, we recommend applying along the brow bone, on the inner corners of the eye, and along the lash line.
