The Color: Shimmering mauve-taupe. Earthy, ethereal, otherworldly.
The Creation: As delicate as a spider's web, as soft as shadows at dusk, with a finish like the glistening of forest life after a rain. In Solarium's interplay with the light, its brightly shimmering, glistening finish feels more myth than makeup. Its effect is like the gaze of a nymph—made of magic, but somehow utterly natural.
How to Wear: Apply with The Eye Soot Brush or fingertips. A soft wash will lend a glint of mysterious light. Build up color in layers for more radiance with a hint of subtle shadow.
The Result: Perfectly romantic, richly refined shimmer in a soft, undone, lived-in eye look. Creases are part of the beauty, but can be easily tapped out if preferred.

THE MORTAL AND THE DIVINE
Lift your cup and sip slowly, a flush of red on your lips. Look out to the wine-dark sea, where moonlight shimmers on the cresting waves. Raise your eyes to the spill of radiant stars against the black sky. When the glimmering sand shifts underfoot, you still feel traces of the sun's warmth.
Delicate curls of smoke billow like silk in the still air. Crush the bitter herb. Break the dark root. Carefully pull the flower's petals, whisper familiar ancient words, and release them into the fire.
CREATING THE COLLECTION
Usually, when the two of us work together in our laboratory, serendipity strikes like lighting. But for this time, finding serendipity for ourselves required countless hours of creation we had to conjure our own thunderstorm. We set out to capture subtle, soft magic; to create a delicate, ethereal and spellbinding vignette in a collection, evoking a sense of the hidden and a the promise of the extraordinary.
Five times, once for each nuanced shade, we had to pass the finest golden thread through the narrowest needle's eye. Then, together, we had to spin each of those threads into a delicate gossamer whole. As each perfect shade emerged, we wove a new world at dusk. A sorceress delicately plucking from her botanical garden. A faun emerging from the river, glistening in the waning light. An unctuous potion created in a base of wine and honey. A nymph enveloped within the ancient forest, illuminated by the pulse of fireflies.
The result is a collection that speaks in powerful, resonant whispers; this is one of the most extraordinary collections we have ever released.

If you love a stunning one and done this is your girl! I love the desaturated mauve sparkle this shade is. It’s absolutely gorgeous and wears beautifully . Creasing? Yea it happens but I find it adds to the overall look. That worn in beauty these products offer .

My honest opinion is that this shade is gorgeous but whithers away to nothing on me in 30 mins. I have a ton of the celestial sphere gelees - this is a formula I love and will continue to purchase other colors. And my others have more staying power. For Solarium, on me, it just doesn’t work and has a more mousse-like texture (as opposed to a gloss texture). But I think I’m in the minority and this shade and consistency seem to work out for most people.
