We used soft vegan bristles with an innovative natural texture in the ideal size and shape: substantial enough for easy full-lid color application, yet small enough for the inner eye and lower lid.

The Eye Soot Brush is made with special vegan PBT bristles that we can't wait for you to experience. Beautifully soft yet offering perfect control, these bristles were developed to emulate the incredible pigment pickup of goat bristles without the goat. The birchwood handle is lacquered in the deepest inky black, then made even more magical with a constellation of silver stars that continue up the anodized aluminum ferrule.
We set out to create a brush that was the absolute perfect match for Ash and Ember Eye Soots, and once we had achieved it, we could not resist trying it with all of our other formulas.

Works perfectly with the eyesoots! The short bristles make it easy to pick up and apply product, especially with smaller eyelids like mine. I hope they add more makeup brushes to the lineup someday, I'd love to have a matching set of face brushes as well!
This works wonderful for their soot eyeshadows! It’s very different from other brushes I own. I tried using others for the soot and it was so hard to clean them after. This virus is easy to clean so I don’t have to worry about colors smudging or not applying properly.
An all-around perfect eyeshadow brush--here's hoping RDF adds to their brush line because omg--I find myself reaching for this every day. Works with creams, powders, creamy powders (eye soots!), loose pigments...you name it. This brush is a workhorse, and the long length gives you superb control.
Very useful specialized tool. The bristles being short but very densely packed helps with control quite a lot and picks up a fair bit more pigment than other brushes I’ve used with longer bristles. Works well with the drier eye soots, but using the brush with a gloss is weird. The bristles just hold onto the gel too much and it doesn’t apply right. The pointy end is good for scooping a little gel out to be smudged with a finger though.
This brush is fluffy soft but with it still maintains a good structure so that it can pick up eye soot and other eye products with ease and puts them down just as easily. Also, I know it has nothing to do with the function of the brush, but I love the design with a trail of twinkling stars down the handle. What can I say...I love anything xeleatialy, so I am usually enamored with RdF's packaging.
