I got Solar Flare with the intention of using it as a highlight, but I more often than not find myself using it as a base with my eye shadow. It works so well as an all over lid color for me and I often use a dark Eye Soot as an eyeliner then smudge it out with Solar Flare. Also while I adore the little glass jars the eye soot comes in, the wider compact for these cremes is so helpful for colors that you wish to apply over a broader canvas than the eyelids.

The color has a nice beige to it so it looks natural on skin tones while also having a luminous glow. Soften the formula with your finger to ease application. Great for every day use and also can be layered up for a dramatic glow.

I was drawn to this site by a picture of someone wearing Solar Flare on the lips. And I just had to have it! Been looking for something similar to NYX Cosmic Metals Metropolitan Night. And this is just that. The ONLY reason I did not give this five stars is because based on the price, I expected a larger compact I guess. I’m a little disappointed at how this is almost like a travel size, yet $32! I’m sorry Rituel de Fille, just being honest. We will see how long it lasts! Thank you!

This is probably my favorite make up product. The versatility is unmatched. I use it for a little shimmer on the cheeks, or when I’m getting fancy I also use it as an eyeshadow. The colors really pops abs the shimmer lasts all day. Highly recommend.

I'm usually not a huge highlighter person. I love the idea of it, but I never find reasons to wear it without feeling like I'm wearing reflective gear. :P I like going for more subtle looks, which you can totally do with Solar Flare, but it's also very buildable! It works beautifully for my skin tone (fair, neutral undertone, leaning warm) but I think it could work on any! Definitely going to be my go-to highlight from now on!

This is great for medium skin tones. Unlike lilac tinted or extremely pale highlighters, this melts into the skin better for medium skin tones and shines beautifully. It stays put for a long time and can be built up or sheered out. Would recommend.
