I have always loved highlighters that aren't the typical colors (gold, pink, silver/white) and so I had to have this in borealis. The formula feels fantastic and is easily buildable. It can be incredibly subtle or a shining beacon. My skin loves it. Hitting pan on this will cause me irreparable emotional harm, I'm pretty sure.

I was apprehensive about this color at first. I received it as a birthday gift, and although it's a gorgeous color and I love it in other people, I was on the fence in whether it'd look good on me or not. I love unconventional colors, especially in highlighters, just wasn't sure about this one. But I have tried it out s few times and it's just gorgeous. There an otherworldly fantastical magic to it without being too over the top. It has A translucency with subtle but glowing green shift, which I think makes it work well for almost any skin tone. It is beautiful all over but when I not in the mood for it on my cheeks, it is perfection around the dye. I usually put my highlighter in the inner corner, the middle of the eyelid and just below the eyebrow for highlight eye placement, too much creasing for my eye type all over but it is perfection in these three spots and can be used with other highlighters as well. And if course, as usual, the rare light luminizer formula is still The Best highlighter formula of any brand I've ever used. It literally just melts into and becomes one with your skin. No matter what color, it has a naturalness in conjunction with the glowing shifts that I have never encountered in any other highlighter. Also, there is no glitter just perfect glow. Never settles into lines. Great unique color to try in a tried and true favorite formula!

I love a good 'weird' color of highlight. This green makes a gorgeous cheek highlight, especially for folks with olive undertones. However, my favorite way to use it is for an inner-eye corner highlight. It gives a beautiful subtle or buildable glow, and makes you look just like the vampires in Queen of the Damned!
