A great brownish, pinkish mauve lipstick. More coverage than the lip sheers, but still glides on just as smooth. I’ll be keeping it on my purse for days when i forget to put something on my lips but i need a nice natural color.

If anyone's ever watched The Good Wife, then you know that classic burgundy nude MLBB shade that Julianna Margulies wears every episode, and I feel like this is the absolute replica. It's got a slight cooler undertone, especially when layered, but warms up a bit when sheered out. Like all the other Forbidden Lipsticks, it takes bit of work to apply evenly, especially if going straight from the bullet, but the final look is great. Though I hate blending and blotting lip colors with my fingers, I find that this is the best method for this formula. I don't think a brush would be as effective. I love mixing this one with Hex to get an even lighter MLBB for my tone, but it's definitely a staple for me, especially in the Fall.

This shade is killer! Just right for my fair neutral skintone. It can be lightly applied or built up for pigment power, and its texture is non-drying compared to other matte lippies. I have often struggled to wear most matte lip products due to sensory sensitivities, but this formula is comfortable and lightweight. I think some staying power is sacrificed in order to make this such a comfortable formula, but I am totally okay with that trade-off!

This is my new daily lip color. I absolutely love how it looks on my lips, not too loud or dark, but rather a medium mauve that has a neutralizing look. These lipsticks glide nicely and I love the matted finish
