Crystalline Matter Eye Soot is our rarest formula, and is released in new shades only once a year. This Color Set contains the two lightest shades in the Phase 4 release, offering a truly magical sparkle.
These artisanal products are mixed and filled entirely by hand, and can only be made in extremely small quantities. Each color is created with love, passion and meticulous care to achieve unmatched complexity.
Crystalline Matter Eye Soot is the glitter of dreams: bright, dimensional, and utterly mesmerizing. We achieve this using only mineral pigments—no plastic-based glitters—to create remarkable sparkling finishes.
The Colors
Moonstone creates a veil of shimmer in a radiant mauve shade with a platinum shift. This color is sophisticated and delicate, yet imparts a boldly glittering finish. (vegan shade)
Fire Opal begins as a soft peach, then dazzles with spring green shift and shimmer. It is delicate yet vibrant with great complexity to explore.

I’d never purchased this formula before but I do love grown up glitter so I went for it! I picked this set because these lighter colors tend to flatter me better. Love both! I have to use glitter glue or primer but these looks so beautiful on. The color description is completely accurate - a peachy spring green shift and a platinum light lavender. I expect to easily wear these year round :)

moonstone and fire opal crystalline matter eye soots are gorgeous with a very glittery and flaky texture. i find they are best applied using your finger instead of a brush. i missed out on the initial launch but i’m so glad i was able to pick these up when they restocked this collection.

The colors, smell and packaging of these products are stunning; but the texture, ease of use, application & resultant pay-off are downright deplorable. They are SO dry & SO crumbly that one loses a lot (nearly ALL) of product either in application or in trying to work the flakes to the point where they can be applied to the eyelid. By the time the flakes have warmed enough to break down into something malleable enough to spread, they have spread along your finger or hand & there is no longer enough to apply to your intended target! However, if one dips more product out with the intention of preparing it for application after said breakdown, large flakes will be lost down the face, clothes, etc.; onto the counter & into the sink! I tried mixing these with toner, water & primer; nothing preps them. No makeup should be this difficult to apply. They are essentially very, very expensive counter jewelry at this point. Unfortunately, I will definitely be seeking to return these. Xx

The Crystalline Matter Eye Soots have a highly pigmented, flakey unique consistency that is neither a powder nor a cream, and are meant to impart a glittering sheen. Just a tiny swipe of your finger picks up more than enough product for the application. If you prefer, scrape out a little bit of product onto the back of your hand. Then swirl it around on the back of your hand using your finger or an applicator to remove the excess product, and work it on your finger or applicator. Swipe your finger or applicator along your eyelid. Working in thin layers prevents fallout. Apply an additional layer, or wear on top of your favorite Ash and Ember Eye Soot for an opaque look.While we hope you won't run into this situation ever again with any future purchases, we can always offer assistance and advice�and have a great 30-day return policy for full-sized products ordered through our site.
