Cerium creates a veil of shimmer in a radiant rosewater pink shade. This color is sophisticated and delicate, yet imparts a boldly glittering finish that reveals stunning dimension on the lid.
The inspiration behind the name: Cerium felt like a particularly beautiful reference for this glittering shade. Cerium was discovered just two years after the dwarf planet Ceres, which was in turn named for the Roman goddess of agriculture. Elemental cerium may oxidize to a soft, beautiful cerise pink shade in perfect parallel with its name.
Crystalline Matter Eye Soot captures the radiance and awe-inspiring beauty of the crystallization process in shades as radiant as the most perfect mineral specimens. These remarkable colors are all formulated, carefully mixed and filled entirely by hand, using only mineral pigments to create their remarkable sparkling finish.

It take a bit of effort to apply compared to your typical cream eyeshadows but crystalline matters have so much dimension they're gobsmackingly gorgeous. I was able to pick up Cerium in my last order and I'm so happy with this shade.

So I have the hardest time applying this formulation. For me it works best to get some of the flakes on to the back of my hand and work it in a bit before applying it with a finger. Beautiful shade of pink.

I have a fairly large collection of pink/rose/mauve/burgundy pigments and this particular shade has become my favorite for adding the sparkle I’m looking for (pictured in the top row)
This particular shade has just the right blend of silver and neutral rose… not too pink and not too Champagne - just right perfectly in the middle and therefore surprisingly versatile and can be used with Garland, Sigil, Anima,
incantation Viscera and Circle of Fire to create a complex Multi faceted look or it can be used alone for a gorgeous hint of accentuating glimmer
I can apply it with my fingertips if I’d like to keep a more dramatic sparkle or I can use a dense brush and work it back-and-forth until the shimmer starts to break down into smaller particles… depending on how far down i work it you can almost turn it into a highlighter which is really surprising and makes it very multipurpose ~ I can do everything from a super bright shimmer/sparkle look down to just a subtle hint of glimmer.
I consider this to be a staple shimmer shade for all of the looks that I created that are in the pink/rose tone family or other colors that compliment pink or silver.

The way this glows from within is absolutely amazing. The crystalline creations are always incredible but this colour is gorgeous! It even made my mother (someone convinced she can’t wear makeup other than brown) branch out of her comfort zone.
I will always recommend these to everyone and anyone.

Love this so much! Not only do I love the dry glittery formulation, but this color in particular is out of this world! I got the set of 3 Crystalline Matter Eye Soots as a Christmas present to myself, and have been so delighted with all of them! But Cerium has such a light base pigment, that I'm finding myself using it for more daytime and easy going looks. I can take it all over the lid to add a wash of reflective glitter and shiny goodness. A serious win!

I have pale skin and pink undertones. I usually avoid pink makeup but bought this one after a smashing success using RDF's Noctua from the Red Shift limited edition event, which is a less sparkly pink. Wow, was that a good call. The silvery, slightly pink glittering effect is breathtaking. If Noctua is my go to for a bit of daytime glam then Cerium would be it's perfect nighttime counterpart. Wonderfully timed for the holidays, this sparkling treat was the perfect way to spice up your look- especially when you're wearing a mask.
