I got a sample of Thorn Bite in Black Thorn and used it up immediately, so I knew it would be a good fit. The formula is cushy without being gloppy and lasts a surprisingly long time on the lips.
The shade Black Thorn is simply stunning on the lips. It's a beautiful gray with ever so slightly bluish/purplish hint to it. It's the most unique shade I have in my collection. The lavender scent is subtle and pleasant. I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 simply because it doesn't hydrate my lips for too long but apart from that it's awesome.
I love anything by RDF, this is the only gloss I keep at arms reach 24/7 I want the clear one now! It’s a mauve brown color (Rose Bloom) and it’s the perfect grungy color for my neutral undertones. Bravo once again!!
I couldn’t figure out from the site/reviews if this was more brown or more mauve, so I just got it. It’s a beautiful color, and does sheer out fairly cool, but it IS on the brown end. That said…I love it. It pairs *perfectly* with the Omen contour, and you could put a cool lip liner on (or even a base of Omen/use Omen as lip liner, something I tried and liked) to make it appear cooler.
The formula feels great and it doesn’t move around all over the place like too many glosses, and actually makes your lips feel better after it finally wears off! I have super dry lips, and it made a noticeable different right away.
I took off one star because I was wanting/expecting mauve and not brown as a base, but I still love it and would get it again.
I absolutely love these lip oils. They're the perfect color and consistency for me, and they don't dry my lips out like other brands have in the past.
