I’m a tinted lip balm addict, that is really picky, and who really didn’t need a new obsession, but here I am and I don’t regret it! Though my wallet might in the future because I’ve fallen in love with this brand.
First off, the packaging is amazing! There is a weight to the tube, like it’s plastic but feels expensive. The doe foot applicator is small and picks up a good amount of product. I’ve only had it for a month, but so far no leaking.
If you don’t like sugary or desert scented/flavored lippies, this is for you. It’s earthy and herby smelling, with a tad bit of sweetness. It goes away pretty quickly though, if that’s a concern. I’m really sensitive with smells and this didn’t give me a headache.
Texture wise it’s like a hybrid of a lip mask and lip oil, and I don’t particularly like traditional lip oils. As a test when I started writing this review, I slathered some on my dry and slightly crusty lips. It’s probably been about fifteen to twentyish minutes (I type slow, don’t judge me) and my lips feel much more hydrated. I still have a slight dry patch on my bottom lip, but it’s noticeably less crusty and the edges have softened.
This color is sheer perfection! It’s very much like a dewy blush for your lips. The formula and color is buildable without getting sticky or stringy, though the color pay off isn’t anything crazy. I like using it when I’m not wearing makeup and want to look a little less dead. For reference, I’m very fair neutral leaning.

When I got the part, I expected it to sting my lips. But honestly. It doesn’t hurt all and it actually does pump up your lips little. Very nice ginger scent, highly recommend.
update to a glowing review i left just this morning—the gloss rolled off my desk and the neck of the glass component broke clean off under the lid! i really wish it wasn’t glass, as luxe as it makes the gloss feel. it’s a very smooth glass too and rolls easily—i couldn’t catch it with my hand despite trying! i only had it for a couple weeks so this is a huge bummer :(
