I've never, and I mean, NEVER, been able to wear lip gloss because regardless of every claim of "clean" ingredients or hydration or whatever, I am always left with severely irritated, damaged, and even pimply lips. Not to mention the cracking that develops at the corners of my mouth that take days of Aquaphor to repair. So I gave up on glosses, despite green/clean/nourishing ingredients and claims. So I was really nervous to try this one, but thought, what's one more? I've only been using it a week, and in a variety of capacities - alone, directly on my lips, or over a balm, or over a lipstick, and so far no irritation, damage, or dryness. I don't want to jinx it (because it's always one day after I submit a review that a product starts to falter), but thus far, it seems to be suiting me pretty well and I took the risk and ordered two other colors. Fingers crossed folks!
