I’m obsessed with thorn bite lip oils! This shade in particular gives a bit of a natural Snow White effect and I love how it’s just my lips but bitten and redder. Love!
I love to wear this shade during Fall and Winter because it’s just so cool toned vampy but also super wearable. I’m autistic and very sensitive to tactile input and I love this lippie, it is so comfortable and luxurious and not sticky. I can’t tell you how much I love it. I have 3 shades.
This is such a beautiful color - sheer but still bold. It's thick but not sticky, moisturizing but doesn't immediately sink in, and definitely makes my lips look soft, supple, and plump. There is no cooling or burning, so it's comfortable as well. My only caveat, is that I don't care for the ginger scent/flavor. It's not offensive, and doesn't last long, but I would prefer something sweeter with less of a savory herbaceous note, like mint, rose water or orange blossom. (Or fruity, like apple or peach, but I think they select more "natural" notes intentionally.)
This is my second color of the thorn bite (I also have the dark purple). They smell like ginger and go on smooth. This one has a nice subtle color.
I had some reservations because I wasn't sure if it would be a sticky gloss but this is so smooth, the color is buildable and it is so hydrating on my lips. I ended up buying another one almost immediately!
Love the distinct cooler tone to this lip oil vs the rose crush shade. I have both and each are different enough to warrant owning both which makes me happy. The more rituel de fille in my arsenal, the better!
