Solarium Celestial Sphere Gelée Eye Gloss
The Color: Earthy, shimmering mauve-taupe, like a faun emerging from the river at twilight.

How to Wear: Apply directly onto the lips, or as a glistening, shadowy topper over Adder's Tongue.
The Result: Lip-enhancing moisture with a beautifully dark flourish.

Moth Color Nectar Pigment Balm
The Color: Bare pink with a hint of taupe, like petals in soft smoke.

The Result: A soft, translucent finish like watercolors for your skin.

Adder's Tongue Enchanted Lip Sheer
The Color: Sheer, bitten blood red, like a taste of red wine.

THE MORTAL AND THE DIVINE

Lift your cup and sip slowly, a flush of red on your lips. Look out to the wine-dark sea, where moonlight shimmers on the cresting waves. Raise your eyes to the spill of radiant stars against the black sky. When the glimmering sand shifts underfoot, you still feel traces of the sun's warmth.

Delicate curls of smoke billow like silk in the still air. Crush the bitter herb. Break the dark root. Carefully pull the flower's petals, whisper familiar ancient words, and release them into the fire.

CREATING THE COLLECTION

Usually, when the two of us work together in our laboratory, serendipity strikes like lighting. But for this time, finding serendipity for ourselves required countless hours of creation we had to conjure our own thunderstorm. We set out to capture subtle, soft magic; to create a delicate, ethereal and spellbinding vignette in a collection, evoking a sense of the hidden and a the promise of the extraordinary.

Five times, once for each nuanced shade, we had to pass the finest golden thread through the narrowest needle's eye. Then, together, we had to spin each of those threads into a delicate gossamer whole. As each perfect shade emerged, we wove a new world at dusk. A sorceress delicately plucking from her botanical garden. A faun emerging from the river, glistening in the waning light. An unctuous potion created in a base of wine and honey. A nymph enveloped within the ancient forest, illuminated by the pulse of fireflies.

The result is a collection that speaks in powerful, resonant whispers; this is one of the most extraordinary collections we have ever released.

    My ultimate red lipstick

I had never worn red lipstick before this. I actually got it last year during the Black Friday sale as a freebie and fell in love with this. I even emailed the team to beg them to make it a permanent color and they did! If you’re not used to such a bloody deep red you can tap this out for a very wearable shade. My favorite way to wear it is with a cool brown/greigey colored lipliner and this lipstick

I didn't think this would suit my cool and pale skin...

...but, unusually, I was wrong. Almost everything pulls warm on me, but not Moth. It looks like a perfect taupe-y pink on me and has quickly become my go-to cool-neutral blush. Props for the seamless blending and sheering out on my pale cheeks that cannot withstand but a mere touch of colour. In addition, I must commend the buildability of this balm formula as well as the non-tackiness of it. Plus, it looks absolutely bomb as an opaque layer on my lips as well. I truly hope this will become a permanent colour in this line of products.

The nude blush of my dreams

I really hope they add this to the year-round line. I love the Lust and Lovesick Inner Glow Creme pigments, and Moth is like if the two of those had a soft, sheer (but very buildable and versatile) baby. In the summer I use Lust as a bronzer/contour build-out for Lovesick, but in the winter I'm slightly too pale for that. Moth is my ideal one-and-done multi. It's what I had hoped the nude color in YSL's Make Me Blush would look like, but that leans a little pinker and isn't as versatile. This can be sheered out to perfection for a natural flush, but is also the exact pinkish nude I need to do a "my lips and lids but better) mono-look. Love, love, love this. When I feel like adding a little contour I use Hornet, and this works beautifully with that!

Obsessed doesn’t begin to cover it

So I was lucky enough to be able to try this shade last year as part of the Black Friday GWPs and it was love at first blush (literally). As someone with a rather fair complexion and neutral undertones, I find Moth to be incredibly versatile in terms of application. In addition to cheeks, eyes, and lips, I found that Moth looks amazing as a contour which is how I’m wearing it in the photo.

As I started hitting pan in my gwp from last year, I had been anxiously awaiting for the color to return for purchase. I’m really happy to see it return!

    Perfect color

This is such a great cool, desaturated rose color. Gives the cheeks a wonderful flush without being too much. On the lips, it’s giving “your lips but better”. Great product.

    Warm subtle red

A bit surprised at how warm it pulled but it still looks really nice. It’s a subtle red for if you’re not used to wearing reds or bright lipsticks. It applies evenly and def gives off the bitten lip vibe. Wearing here with weeping cherry balm and iron orb liner and they go so well together.

That said, one star down as There’s something wrong with my bullet, and I can’t twist it up or down after the initial twist up, which is a shame because I really liked this colour and returning is out of the question given how much shipping to and from Asia costs.
