...but, unusually, I was wrong. Almost everything pulls warm on me, but not Moth. It looks like a perfect taupe-y pink on me and has quickly become my go-to cool-neutral blush. Props for the seamless blending and sheering out on my pale cheeks that cannot withstand but a mere touch of colour. In addition, I must commend the buildability of this balm formula as well as the non-tackiness of it. Plus, it looks absolutely bomb as an opaque layer on my lips as well. I truly hope this will become a permanent colour in this line of products.

I really hope they add this to the year-round line. I love the Lust and Lovesick Inner Glow Creme pigments, and Moth is like if the two of those had a soft, sheer (but very buildable and versatile) baby. In the summer I use Lust as a bronzer/contour build-out for Lovesick, but in the winter I'm slightly too pale for that. Moth is my ideal one-and-done multi. It's what I had hoped the nude color in YSL's Make Me Blush would look like, but that leans a little pinker and isn't as versatile. This can be sheered out to perfection for a natural flush, but is also the exact pinkish nude I need to do a "my lips and lids but better) mono-look. Love, love, love this. When I feel like adding a little contour I use Hornet, and this works beautifully with that!

I tried to love the Night Thorn shade of the Thorn Bite Peptide Plump Crème Lip Oil, but it just wasn't meant to be, which is too bad, as I was so excited about this awesome-looking colour that, I soon found out, wouldn't stay put for long. For this reason, had this been a clear shade that isn't as detectable around your mouth, it would have gotten three stars but, even so, my main chagrin with this product is the taste: If you want this Night Thorn colour to look nice and even, you will need to apply quite a lot of product - after which this slippery and runny oil will end up in my mouth every time I wear it on its own and the chemical taste makes me bristle. That being said, the taste is not so bad that I would not have made an effort to pan this lip oil, but I wouldn't wish for another bottle. As a positive note, this Night Thorn shade is a lovely blackish aubergine colour, which looks awesome on my cool and fair complexion (as long as I'm willing to comply with the product's high maintenance demands), so points for that and also for the care and hydration the product provides for my lips. - It's just too bad I have had to mostly resort to wearing only a tiny bit as gloss on top of other similar dark-coloured lip products. As a topper gloss, I have liked this product the best to wear with the brand's Lip Sheer in the shade Black Locust; that's where I have gotten the best results (as well as on top of the NYX lip I.V. in the shade Grape Gushin'). I really love this black lip oil. I need to take a bit of time to apply it so it doesn't look streaky, but it's not too difficult. I keep it subtle with a thin layer. It dries down well, doesn't leave my lips feeling dry once it's gone

Not my favourite application tool. I can come out of the top, so I only use it at home, as I don't want to have it leak in my purse. If they changed the applicator, it would be an easy 5 star.
