i had used icebow in the past (and loved it and repurchased) but i wanted to try ghost light out too. it’s so gorgeous i love how it matches the illuminating serum (in moonlit creature). i am incredibly pale so i am always worried highlighters will look dark on me but this is a perfect depth, its more about the color shift. it also will still play natural, but you can build it up for a more ethereal look.

I think I ordered something like 8 different highlighter samples. While I did order a full size of more than one, this is my go to for less sunny days and will be a staple for the darker/colder months.

I love that these highlighters are shimmer, not color. They melt into the skin rather than sitting on top of it like a barely concealed secret. I use these to catch light and add brightness to the inner corner of my eye. I sometimes tap them over the center of my eyelid. I often add them to my Cupids bow and the center of my lower lip.

Spectre, in particular, creates this chameleon-like pearlescence when layered over a color. The photos all have spectre on the Cupids bow and center lip over other colors (Omen, Lilium & Eulogy from black moon and sleepwalker from black moon). It’s also on the inner corner of the two closer up photos and on the lid of the photo with the black lipstick.
