The Collection

This synesthetic Chelsea Wolfe makeup collection was borne of sound and color, created in collaboration with visionary artist Chelsea Wolfe. These two new lipstick and eyeshadow colors evoke strange natural beauty, channeling her dark, feral, and intimate world in pigment.

The Colors

SWARM ENCHANTED LIP SHEER

Consider: Veins of red clay in the earth, tangled with dark roots. The deep flush of the sky at sunset, obscured in a dense cloud of migration. The instinct of colonies, reacting to invisible biological signals. The grasshopper transforming into the locust.

The Color: This rich, vibrant, earth-inflected red evokes blood in fresh soil, and draws inspiration from swarm behavior in the natural world; convergences of plant, pollinator and predator. Semi-matte finish.

EXUVIAE ASH AND EMBER EYE SOOT

Consider: What is cast off, and what is kept. Emergence. The shed skin, the discarded shell. Rebirth and renewal.

The Color: This beautifully complex shade was drawn from the husks of cicadas, the subtle shimmer of shifting insect wings, the blush of a just-ripening fig pollinated by wasps. Exuviae is a dramatic, deep taupe with a hint of rose and a shimmer finish.
