This product is so special! It takes a lot to turn my head with a makeup product, this one did it!! Perfect coverage, spot-on shade match, pigmented, lightweight and blendable. This formula somehow manages to be simultaneously featherweight and nourishing to the skin. Beautiful, sheer but meaningful coverage. I wear it mixed with SPF during the day (blends beautifully) and alone in evenings. It is truly, truly like your own skin but better. Just the right amount of coverage without looking like you are wearing foundation. Hydrates without being overly dewy or glowy. I absolutely adore this product. How it does all of this in literally just a few drops...clearly there is magic at work and I am here for it!

GORGEOUS. As a former MUA, I’m not impressed by many new makeup releases, but this stuff is remarkable. It has a sheer, supple, beautifully smooth texture. I squeeze two drops onto a palette, prime them into a brush, and then buff onto the areas of my face that need evening out. This product can build from sheer to more opaque, so on trouble spots where I want more coverage I can go back with another drop and add more. It also plays well with other products (even those that aren’t from RdF) so I can then add my concealer on top if necessary.

Two things to think about: the color in the bottle is way more concentrated than how it looks on your face because it sheers out. I was worried about my recommended shade (#155) because I’m quite olive, but I ordered it anyway. It looked very orange in the bottle, but it’s perfect on my skin. Secondly, because of its silky, fluid consistency, this product comes out of its bottle QUICKLY. Shake it with its cap ON, turn over, and gently press the bottom to dispense or you’ll get more than you wanted.

I have been searching for a good pale foundation that lightens my already fair complexion just a tad for higher contrast looks. It's been a difficult difficult because of my very pale skin tone combined with olive subsurface tone and natural blush. Most brands "porcelain" foundations read as a shade darker on me.

I trusted the recommendation on the site to go with the 105, and it's finally about exactly what I wanted for just a slight push to a paler base color while being light enough to let my skins natural beauty marks, blush and tones remain present and harmoniously blended. It also feels very light and isn't prone to streaking like some other thin foundations.

When I want to push this slightly paler shade up a bit in luminance, I finish this with the Creature of Light Full-Face Serum Illuminator: Moonlit Creature which might be my new go-to low-effort, high-reward makeup foundations for anything from a casual naked makeup look to dramatic high contrast looks.
