    Beautiful red

    I love this lipstick. I don’t need lip liner while wearing it. I bought this because it has no synthetic red dyes. This lipstick is very, very pigmented which is nice. I wish they’d release more naturally pigmented lipsticks in the normal red/pink/berry/burgundy/coral range (I do like the dark lipsticks this brand has, but I don’t wear the more nude/pale ones). Also I would love this lipstick in a satin formula, but the semi-matte texture is still nice.

    The Classic Red

    I've had my eye on the Forbidden Lipsticks for RdF for a while and finally took the plunge, especially after finding the Enchanted Lipsticks to be a little too glossy for my taste. Written in Blood is a neutral classic red. I don't find that it leans too blue or too orange on me personally, and if sheered out, could be a bright pink shade. Longevity on these is average, maybe about a few hours, likely less with eating and drinking. Overall, I like this shade. I layer/mix it with Ravenous to get that deeper red shade that no brand seems to ever create haha, and once blotted in and mixed well, it's really nice. No irritation or dryness from these whatsoever, which is perfect because I do suffer from dryness of the face, lips, and hands, and these don't further that.

    Absolutely love this lipstick!

    I bought the shades Ravenous and Fortune Teller. Both colors are perfect on my skin tone. The formulation is good, too. It goes on easily and is highly pigmented, which is a must for me. The only minus point is the strong lavender scent.

    Stiff formula with wonderful colour payoff.

    Does not smear or migrate out of my lipline. Does not require a lip liner either.
