Phosphene: Often described as seeing stars, this kinetic perception of light is created by the viewer—this peach highlighter reflects the patterns observed in pitch-black darkness, the rhythmic shimmer of meditation, the sparks from rubbing your eyes.

This radiant neutral highlighter imparts a soft, pale beige glow with a hint of peachy-blush shift.

Finish Natural, softly iridescent radiance
Texture Rich crème
Aroma Naturally floral and herbaceous, with botanical lavender and the honeyed warmth of natural beeswax

    Amazing as a blush topper

After sampling some highlight colors, I was just going to get the Rare Light Luminizer in Icebow, but Phosphene is sooo pretty as a blush-topper for an extra-glossy (but not glittery) look, I just couldn't resist! I like to use the Inner Glow Creme Pigment in Eros for contour, in Desire for blush, then liberally slide Phosphene over my entire cheekbone and top it off with some Icebow. What I like about Phosphene is that it goes well with both cool and warm-toned looks. I've used it with mauve blushes, but also atop warm peachy-pink shades. It applies and blends beautifully with just fingers. For reference, I have light skin (depending on how in depth the shade range is, I'm usually the second or third shade from the palest color) with brown hair and green eyes.

    Ethereal glow.

The color of this can only be described as the glow you get under candlelight. I was worried this was warm toned and might pull orange on my skin, but its actually quite gorgeous!

    A peach ethereal dream

At first I could not figure out how to use this. I felt like if I used it as a highlight, it would move my blush around… but then I started mixing it in with my cream blush and wearing it stand alone on a bare face with a little contour. Oh man it is dreamy. I also put it on my eyes and as a cupids bow highlight. Now I get it. And she is perfect.

    Subtle… very

Makes me shiny. That’s about it. Doesn’t stand out nearly as much as other luminizers from this brand. It’s appropriate for conservative attire. I personally prefer a tad more pizzazz. But not bad!

    Phosphene luminizer

This is such a delicate peachy pink luminous color. I love it as a highlight on my lips. Truly transformative with a neutral lip liner like Mob Beauty’s midtone brown. It’s also really pretty on the eyelid when I am not wearing makeup!
