I had never tried this formula before. It's a very flaky consistency, and I have a little bit of a hard time picking it up with my finger, but it's much easier than it is with a brush. For me it works best to swipe it on rather than pat it on.

Beautiful multi-faceted green color which matches my eyes very well! Perfectly grungy/smoky too! Requires a little more effort than the ash and ember soots but honestly I like the sort of messy vibe.

My favorite color, by far, is greenish gold. And while greens don't always look the best with my slightly olive skin tone, golds tend to look great. Which is to say that my gold and greenish gold eye shadow collection is ridiculous. Thallium still manages to be a standout! The base pigment bends more to the green, while the glitter reflect is sold gold that sometimes gives off a more silvery flash. Its super interesting and dynamic. Lots of fall out with the formula, but worth the extra effort for the beautiful color and effect!

I tried it today and the mossy green is so beautiful. You can build the pigment or sheer it out. There’s some fall out but not an issue for me, except now I’m more careful so I don’t waste any of this precious gem!

This was my first Crystalline Matter Eye Soot--what a divine formula. The greens in this color were so multi-dimensional, earthy, and magical. I find myself planning my outfits around wearing this color.
