...but, unusually, I was wrong. Almost everything pulls warm on me, but not Moth. It looks like a perfect taupe-y pink on me and has quickly become my go-to cool-neutral blush. Props for the seamless blending and sheering out on my pale cheeks that cannot withstand but a mere touch of colour. In addition, I must commend the buildability of this balm formula as well as the non-tackiness of it. Plus, it looks absolutely bomb as an opaque layer on my lips as well. I truly hope this will become a permanent colour in this line of products.

I really hope they add this to the year-round line. I love the Lust and Lovesick Inner Glow Creme pigments, and Moth is like if the two of those had a soft, sheer (but very buildable and versatile) baby. In the summer I use Lust as a bronzer/contour build-out for Lovesick, but in the winter I'm slightly too pale for that. Moth is my ideal one-and-done multi. It's what I had hoped the nude color in YSL's Make Me Blush would look like, but that leans a little pinker and isn't as versatile. This can be sheered out to perfection for a natural flush, but is also the exact pinkish nude I need to do a "my lips and lids but better) mono-look. Love, love, love this. When I feel like adding a little contour I use Hornet, and this works beautifully with that!

The color nectar pigment balms are the ultimate little multitasker, flexible for use on eyes, lips, and cheeks. The texture is soft and creamy and blends out well, like a potted lipgloss with some natural sheen to it. Expect creaminess and light shine when on the lips and cheeks. Use on the lids will work if it's blended out and set with powder, otherwise it will remain sticky and crease immediately. What I like best is that this color is so versatile for all these uses, whereas many of the other colors (pink, red, orange, etc) will only work for cheeks and lips. Moth can even be used as a contour color. Perfect one and done color

Beautiful sheer muted brown-pink color. I loved this as a blush but unfortunately, it seems like something in this doesn't agree with my skin because I developed small breakouts exactly where I was applying this on my cheeks right after I started using it :(

I haven't had any irritation using it as a sort of cream eyeshadow/eye gloss. Note that this never really sets down, and because it has so many oils in it, it WILL make other shadows or liners you apply smear more easily. However, that means that this is really helpful to get a smudgy worn-in grungy eye look, and the slight sheen creates a more lively effect without any shimmer or glitter.
