Hornet is a cool, rich, grounding brown composed in our translucent, jelly-like formula. It melts seamlessly into the skin, diffusing into a sheer, 90s-inspired depth that looks striking and sophisticated on the lips, cheeks, and eyes.

How to Apply
- For Cheeks: Swirl your fingertips or a dense brush into the pan. Tap into the hollows of the cheeks and blend outward for a sheer, watercolor flush.
- For Lips: Press directly onto the lips with a finger for a bitten, stained-glass tint that deeply moisturizes. Swipe softly around the lip line for a diffused look.
- For Eyes: Tap and blend out for a soft wash of color.

I know everything '90s is super trendy right now, but I've loved the '90s since the actual '90s and want to be able to keep buying this after the trend has cycled through!

Finally. I don't know what I'll do when this one runs out! It's such a pitch-perfect balance of cool with just a tiny smidge of warmth, and there simply isn't another contour/bronzer color or product like it ANYWHERE. Believe me....I've looked. I love this product so much, and it's a TRUE Holy Grail for me.

I love the sheerness of the color balm formula, and Hornet is really perfect for recreating the perfect 90s brown shades, and create a muted base for other colors. There's been a lot of 'the supermodel look" makeup reels going around, and this shade is befitting of this trend.

This color makes it so easy to do your makeup. I'll throw it all over the lid and take any shadow, shimmery or dark, to pull together a full look. Like all RDF color nectar balms, you can use everywhere.

When this was first available I didn't think I needed anymore brown products in my collection, so I just went with Weeping Lilac. I was so happy Hornet became available again because I didn't know how much I would love the look and application of this formula, it's really special IMO, and along with the recent limited colors, Weeping Cherry and Ghost Rose, these are currently my most used makeup products. Hornet of course looks great on the eyes as a soft brown and as a brown tinted lip, but I was surprised how well it worked as a contour for my pale neutral complexion as well (I never use contour). Additionally, I have sensitive skin and never have issues with these, and I appreciate how easy they are to wash off at the end of the day. It's a bummer that Hornet isn't permanent, but I'm really excited to see what other colors they come out with in the future.
