Noctua is a very pretty color with a flip, however, it is nothing too special that it shows up clearly on the lids. This formula also need to be worked with otherwise, it creases like crazy. It is also hard to build up so that the color shows up; and when you do layer after layer, it creases. I always use an eye primer and also powder beforehand to prevent creasing but it still creases.

As with any wet-look eye product there will be creasing more quickly than with a powder eye shadow, but this can be easily tapped out with your finger. To fully avoid any potential creasing, we recommend applying along the brow bone, on the inner corners of the eye, and along the lash line.

I love the color and the shinyness but unfortunately the emollient quality of this pigment maladjusted the rest of my eye makeup basically dissolving it. If it was a touch less emollient I think it would stay on better. It would likely be fine by itself as a “once and done” but it still transfers around my eyelid because of the oils in it
