I have very pale skin with pink undertones and medium brown eyes. I struggle to find eyeshadows that look good on me. I start with the color Sigil and lightly dust it over my entire upper and lower lid. Then I use the eye soot brush to apply Serpent De Mer to my entire lower lid. The color goes on beautifully. I'm able to apply it darker on my lower lid and then blend it into my crease. It really blends so well into Sigil. I don't wear heavy makeup. I don't use eye liner or bronzer or contouring for dramatic looks. I just want something pretty and these eye soot colors are wonderul for both dramatic and natural looks. The pots they come in are very generous and will last me a long time.

This item was my first pigment for eyes I bought - I was shocked how pigmented and shimmery it was on just a swatch! It blends well on the eyelid and you don’t need a lot to acheive great coverage and colour. It’s buildable as well. It is not a lowlight, but the colour is more steel like than how it looks on the pictures - fits great anyhow!

I am not 100 percent sure what I was expecting with this but this one of the easiest shadows I have worked with. A little goes a long way and for how soft it is, you would expect it to have a lot of fall out. I did not experience this at all as it stays in place and it blends nicely. I also love that it is a violet shadow that is a bit more grungy therefore making it more wearable for everyday.

I've been trying to work more color into my daily looks. However I really love how browns look on me and find them hard to let go of. Serpent de Mer is a nice warm toned purple that meets right in the middle of bold colors and neutral browns. I like to pair it with Half Light as a transition color at the outer edges of my eyes then smudge them out with a white powder shadow.
