Allure Rituel de Fille Celestial Sphere Gelée Eye Gloss review

A strong makeup opinion: Rituel de Fille makes the best iridescent eyeshadow products on the market — which is no small feat given that the brand's products are also naturally-derived, clean formulations. If you haven't tried them, their creamy highlighters are to die for (and a Best of Beauty winner).

But today, we're here to talk about their new trio of eye soots, for the holidays. Some background: Rituel de Fille's Eye Soot is, simply, the brand's terminology for shadows. The 'Soot,' in its black-topped, hexagonal containers falls somewhere between cream and powder in terms of texture.

For the holidays, the brand is launching three new ones as part of its new Celestial Sphere collection. These officially launch on Monday November 13, though you can reserve yours now.

Having seen some of the magical imagery for these launches, I had high expectations for this eyeshadow review. After all, this is a brand I truly believe in when it's time to GLOW UP. When I first opened the three tins, I actually thought there must have been a mistake — the colors look nearly identical in their packaging. But, that's the magic of the color-shifting, iridescent pigment contained in each formula. Swatch them out and you'll see the nuances of the undertones contained in each shadow's unique blend.

The Celestial Sphere hues can be worn on their own, but are made to work seamlessly with the brand's O.G. Ash and Ember Eye Soots — a full collection of traditional colors that can be essentially glazed with Lyra, Pyxis, and Ara.
