I love every single one of the metamorphic highlighters, they are the reason I found RDF and why I have been a customer and follower for years. They build beautifully, they are so easy to apply! I love how vibrant all the colors are. The eye is like a cross between a rarelight luminizer and a metamorphic highlighter-it can be subtle or super glowy. The flame looks like being bathed in candle light and I think they both bring out the blue in my eyes to an insane degree. I really didn't think I would be as in love with the flame as I was with the eye but my gosh I hope I can order these again one day because they are both truly magical.

I’ll be honest, I prefer the crème luminiferous formula better but these colors are gorgeous. I hope these color inspire other products RDF makes in the future. For me, the sparkle in these editions was too chunky for my preference and didn’t melt or blend into my skin the way I want it to. I do have this highlighter in the enchantress and I find that color to be smoother. But these are wonderful colors and if glitter is your thing, definitely go for it!

I own all of these highlighters and have yet to be disappointed. The Eye is very blue and can be a little challenging on my warmer complexion, that doesn’t stop me, but takes a little more time to harmonize. The Flame on the other hand, should be difficult on my fair complexion, but makes the most beautiful and easy blush! The Flame is too pigmented for me as a highlighter, but is my go to blush!
