EXTRAORDINARY ORIGINS
Extremophiles are microorganisms that survive and thrive in conditions totally inhospitable to life. Deinoxanthin can only be derived from one source, a remarkable extremophile: Deinococcus radiodurans, the most radiation-resistant lifeform ever discovered.
In experiments conducted by NASA and the ISS exploring the viability of life on other planets, D. radiodurans survived for up to three years in the harsh, unfiltered radiation of space. HOW TO APPLY
Use the soft doe foot applicator to dab onto the under eyes, dark spots, blemishes, or anywhere else you want to cover or brighten.
Like an eye cream, tap out with your fingertips to blend. If preferred, you can also blend out with a makeup sponge or complexion brush.
Pro Tip: This is a highly pigmented formula, and a little goes a long way. For the best possible under-eye coverage and wear, we recommend starting with three dots: at the inner corner, under-eye hollow, and outer corner. Blend out the dots, and if more coverage is desired, repeat to build up from there.
Avoid over-applying–such as with one big swipe–to allow the self-setting formula to work its crease-resistant magic.
For a hydrated base, prep with Thorn Oil Priming Facial Elixir and allow to sink into the skin. For the ultimate glowing complexion, follow that with Creature of Light Full-Face Serum Illuminator and allow to dry down before applying Soft Sorcery.
BACKGROUND: INGREDIENT CLINICAL TESTING
Deinoxanthin is brand new in the world of beauty, and we want to share as much information as possible about this fascinating ingredient in the interest of transparency.

Soft Sorcery Weightless Serum Concealer is designed solely to alter the appearance of the skin, and is not intended to affect the structure or function of the skin. Any references to structural changes in the skin are not to be interpreted as claims for the cosmetic product itself. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Deinoxanthin extract was tested in an in-vivo study of 22 females aged 20-60 (average age: 51) over 4-8 weeks, using a 3% concentration of the active ingredient–the same concentration used in Soft Sorcery Weightless Serum Concealer.
This study evaluated efficacy based on the following criteria: skin density improvement, eye bag improvement, elastic restoring force improvement, relief of dark circles, and wrinkle improvement functional evaluation.
This study demonstrated the following:
• 11.6% reduction in the appearance of under-eye bags after 4 weeks of use
• 7.5% improvement in skin density after 4 weeks of use
• 68.6% increase in elastic resilience after using, with resilience improves rate of 8.2% after 4 weeks of use
• 13.4% reduction in the appearance of dark circles after 8 weeks of use
In-vitro testing demonstrated the following:
• Antioxidant assay: Deinoxanthin showed 19x the antioxidant scavenging activity of beta-carotene at the same concentration
• Antioxidant assay: Deinoxanthin extract reduces ROS by 59% at 200 ppm
• Anti-inflammation assay: Deinoxanthin extract 48% NO reduction at 200 ppm
• Skin barrier assay: Increased Filaggrin expression & increased Involucrin expression at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm (with UV irradiation for 4 days after Deinoxanthin treatment)
• Anti-aging assay (MMP-1 and Procollagen): 41% MMP-1 reduction at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm
• Anti-aging assay (Skin 3D model): Increased Collagen Type IV expression & decreased MMP-1 & MMP-2 expression at Deinoxanthin extract 200 ppm (with UV irradiation for 4 days after Deinoxanthin treatment)

I really like this concealer, although it is a serum concealer I find it to have a kind of mousse like texture. It blends easily and looks nice and skin-like. I find that it wears well through my 8 hour workday. I personally always set my concealer with powder as well, which helps with longevity.

This is an awesome creamy, easy to blend concealer. I’m 43 and I had been struggling to find a concealer that covered but didn’t crease or make my undereyes look dry. This is it. It covers so well and wears REALLY well. I can’t speak to the long term look of my skin with the cutting edge carotenoid, because I haven’t been using it long enough. But I really like it and will continue to use. Also, I can’t say it doesn’t ever crease, but it creases waaaaaaay less than any other concealer I’ve ever used. And after about 30 min of being on, it doesn’t settle anymore. It’s locked into place.

I got this since the description said it was a good pair with potion 110. I was nervous but it blends well with my skin and the foundation. It also covers blemishes better than any other concealer I have used (it doesn’t come off when blending). The finish is perfect. Looks like I am not wearing anything and doesn’t cake.

I love that the product has no fragrance and very little smell. The color was a decent match but the consistency is very thick and hard to blend with anything other than your fingers. There’s medium coverage and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
