The scent is what makes this different. It smells pretty neat. Is it better than other salves? Likely not BUT the scent is unique in the best way. I tend to use it a lot like solid perfume. I like that it comes in a reusable tin and not lousy plastic! Pricey, yes but also incredibly unique.

I loved this balm more than I expected to, it makes for a really nice sensory experience rubbing it into my cuticles. The scent is herbal and smoky but not overpowering at all. Texture is like a firm balm that warms into something really silky as you heat it up with your fingers. Would purchase again for sure.

This is a lovely balm that smooths out skin issues, and has a soft smoky scent. I really like to layer it under fragrances where I want a little campfire note added (like a marshmallow fragrance, Delizia di Marshmallow). I use it on the perioral dermatitis patches I get on the sides of my mouth, too. It doesn't cure it, but it is soothing, and helps diminish the flaky, itchy skin.
