Volans: A rich wine gelée base illuminated with complex, sparkling, iridescent sparks of blue, violet, aqua and red. Worn as an eye gloss, it reveals its watery complexity with a sheer, shadowy base and a stunning blue shift.
Volans is named for the flying fish constellation, and embodies dimensional, aquatic iridescence like scales shifting beneath the surface of the water and emerging in glittering moonlight.

I was so excited to receive this shade as a gift with purchase. Reminds me a lot of the Cygnus shade that is long discontinued. It's an absolutely stunning purple blue shift shade that would elevate any look.

I was admittedly a bit apprehensive with this formula as I had deep set eyes, so I was quite happy to have one included as a gift with purchase. I ended up really impressed with it - it adds a beautiful layer of complexity to a look. It does crease some, but I don't find that to be a deal breaker.

This is beautiful over Serpent de Mer or just by itself. It does tend to crease because I have deep set eyes. I just place it strategically. I apply closer to my lash line and lightly blend upward to avoid that.

Volans... Gosh, it was admittedly an impulse purchase, but holy hell- it's incredibly gorgeous. I wear colored eyeliner, and black, and it's such a diverse color and with the shifts it goes with absolutely everything. It's perfect! I hope one day they bring it back so i can buy a replacement when I run out!!

I don’t typically wear colors this dark but I got this as part of a package for a promo if i’m not mistaken. I love the color but it is hard not to get glitter on other parts of my face when I wear this, so def use a q tip or something that keeps your fingers clean!
